Hey all, we have catalog item using a multi-row variable set. We allow the user to select and add rows as required when populating the multi-row variable table when completing the item. The table works great, produces the correct approvals specified on the table and passes through the variable details into the task.
One issue we found, we are new to portal and during testing, we found the multi-row variable when populated on the portal, and submitted, does not keep the data in the multi-row variable table. When you open the RITM generated from the request, the table is blank.
Any thoughts of hand? Thanks in advance.

Hello @Wade Clairmont ,
You need to match the variable value to the target table. Adding an attachment for your reference.
The you need to match the variable values with the field value. Follow the attached screenshot.

Would this have to be different if it were an order guide? This is one of many options in the rule base.
Portal entry
Results in RITM variable display after portal submission and request approval....
I have setup the Catalog Data Lookup Definition
and attempted the Catalog Matcher Variable Definition
but the multi-row variable is not available to map
variable sets defined in item:

Hello @Wade Clairmont ,
If the fields displayed on the multi row are the reference field, then you should reconfigure your multi row variable set. Don't need to use the catalog lookup definition as I understood there is something that is on multi row variable set level where you need to check whether your values properly getting submitted.

interesting comments, I have verified and the requested item functions fine as a unique request from the portal, however when included in an order guide, then it fails to insert update the table records.
Essentially, there must be something required or a different setup for order guide requests on the portal.
