Multilevel pivot report fails to export as PDF from report, or as PDF in scheduled report production

Hi Community

when trying to export a multilevel pivot report on demand, the error message "Export failed" appears:

I have also tried using an Admin user and it doesn't work. Also using scheduled report it sends the email without attachment.

Any idea how to go about this?

KB0746820 covers this exact behaviour, multi level pivot reports failing to export as PDF with the same message you're getting, have a read of that one and the Known Errors article for whichever Australia patch you landed on.

That popup gives you nothing to work with, so pull the real error out of the instance log at the same timestamp. And the scheduled report arriving with no attachment lines up with the same cause, the PDF never gets built but the email still goes.
