Multiple ServiceNow Tabs Open in Edge Issues

We have a Customer Support advocate who insists on using Edge for ServiceNow (even though we told him that Chrome is the preferred browser for ServiceNow).  Since our Vancouver upgrade, he has noticed a new issue that he had not seem before.  If he has multiple tabs of the same ServiceNow environment open (Prod), sometimes his "Favorites" listing does not work on some of the tabs - it doesn't show the Favorites list (it shows nothing under Favorites).

 

I believe it is probably because he has multiple tabs open for the same ServiceNow environment in the same browser session, and they may be interfering with each other.  Can someone confirm that is the case?  Are there are best practices I can advise him on?
