My PDI instance has not been opening for the past three days.

My PDI instance has not been opening for the past three days. Initially, the status of my instance remained "Waking Up" for one day, and for the past two days, it has been showing a "Refreshing" status.

HI @Aqib4 ,

Unfortunately , there is no help provided for PDIs, you need to wait for the instance to be active and there is no specific timeline set for this to be resolved.

Hello @Aqib4

There is almost no support available from ServiceNow in relation to PDIs. Hence, I would recommend you to wait some time to see if it comes online again. If it doesn't come online again, the only available solution is to release your instance and request a fresh installation.

Please remember, if you haven't backed up your instance, all work will be lost by a release - You do not have the possibility to restore from previous.

Hi @Aqib4 ,

As you might know, there are no support available from ServiceNow in relation to PDIs, hence your are left with two options:

  1. Wait, it should come online again
  2. If you get tired of waiting, release your instance and request a fresh installation. Please note, all your development which haven't been backed up will be lost for good.

If my answer has helped with your question, please mark my answer as the accepted solution and give a thumbs up.

Best regards

Hi @Aqib4

I've been using PDI without any issues since this morning, but I've noticed several posts in the community about PDI being offline. Here are some points to consider:

  1. There is no support available for PDI.
  2. If you can wait, let's wait a bit longer.
  3. You can release this instance and start a new one, but you will lose your previous data. To avoid losing update sets in the future, make sure to take regular backups of your PDI.

There have been 3-4 posts in the community today about PDI failures or unavailability. Based on the responses, you might need to wait 1-2 days and hopefully, the PDI will be back online.
