My PDI is offline from last 3-4 days

Hi

My PDI is offline from 3-4 days, I thought there is a maintenance for a day or so, but does not look the case now.

Does anyone has insights why PDIs are offline from 3-4 days and when we can expect those to come online.

I know, I can release the instance and get a fresh one, but I don't want to go via that route.

Hi @DeepakI

I've been using PDI without any issues since this morning, but I've noticed several posts in the community about PDI being offline. Here are some points to consider:

  1. There is no support available for PDI.
  2. If you can wait, let's wait a bit longer.
  3. You can release this instance and start a new one, but you will lose your previous data. To avoid losing update sets in the future, make sure to take regular backups of your PDI.

There have been 3-4 posts in the community today about PDI failures or unavailability. Based on the responses, you might need to wait 1-2 days and hopefully, the PDI will be back online.

Hello @DeepakI

Unfortunately, there is no direct support for PDIs. You can wait for a couple more days to see if the instance comes back online. If it remains offline beyond that, releasing the current instance and requesting a fresh one might be your only option.

While releasing your instance isn't ideal, it's often the quickest way to resume work if your PDI doesn't become available soon.

Hope this helps!

Hi @DeepakI

As you might know, there is no support available from ServiceNow in relation to PDIs, hence you're limited to two options:

  1. Wait, it should come online after some time.
  2. Release your instance and request a fresh installation. Please note, all development work that hasn't been backed up will be lost for good.

If my answer has helped with your question, please mark my answer as the accepted solution and give a thumbs up.
