Need a Resolver group added to get Catalog Tasks

Hi Team , 

 

We have requirement on notification ,

 

I have the resolver group: "TCS-Mainframe_zCloud-SUP added to the CMDB but it isn't added to the Notification 'Catalog task worknoted (unassigned)'  and ensure when a task is assigned to this resolver group an email is sent to: tcs_mainframe_zcloud_sup@.com.au.

what should i do , can any one please provide me the steps

Hi @nameisnani,

 

Debugging emails can sometimes be challenging due to the number of moving parts, however I suggest taking a simplistic step by step approach.

 

Things to check:

- Is the group active?

- Is the group email set?

- Is the group email valid? Have you tested sending via outlook to this email address? The one provided doesn't look to be of correct format '@.com.au' - where is the domain? Have you removed it on purpose so as to not to share. (Be mindful of the audience so you should never share emails on here or sensitive data). Email address should be '@domain_name.com.au'

- Are there any blockers to non system registered emails?

- Have you tried sending the same email to a single user to ensure there is no issue with the email template, trigger or other fundamental?
