cmdb_ci is the table name for Configuration Item
task_ci is the table name for Affected CI

sys_class_name is the backend value for Configuration Class field in cmdb_ci system core table.
By default the add button will show all CI from cmdb_ci tables[Please refer to the screenshot below where the CI count is 3265].
But if you want to apply a filter on windows server ci then just select the Windows Server for the Configuration Class filter that reloads the popup window with CI's from the selected class. Please refer to the screenshot below, It shows only 34 CI's from Windows Server CI Class
May I know the reason why you wanted to remove Configuration Class filter?
