Need help with SLA's - Holiday not triggering in Schedule

Hi all,

I had created a child SLA schedule for holidays called "Canadian Holidays" which has a parent of our "8-5 weekdays" schedule.  It was brought to my attention that on April 10, the scheduled stat holiday SLA did not over ride the Parent "8-5 weekdays" schedule and an incident that came through breached it's SLA.  I've gone through to check the schedules and see that the holiday is in fact in the calendar.  Does any one know why this would have happened?

Here are the settings for the Child Schedule "Canadian Holidays:

Are there other settings required to kick these child SLA holiday schedules in to work / override the Parent Schedule?

Any help is always appreciated.

Hi Cory,

Here's the docs site entry with an example of all the settings you need to have in place for this: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/orlando-platform-administration/page/administer/time/concept/c_Ho...

In your "8-5 Weekdays" schedule, is your "Canadian Holidays" set to "include" (example of the US Holidays in this image):

Then in your Candian Holidays schedule, is the entry for Good Friday set to "excluded" like on this image:

Thanks very much, that part I was missing.  The Type was set to 'Time off' and not exclude so should be good now I am thinking.  Really appreciate your help with this!
