Need to make default "Time Zone " for the user.

Hi All,

I have an issue i have a user and time zone has set to below time zone but once he logged out again logged in the timezone gets changed. but i dont want to change the time zone when ever the user logged in the default should be same ..but now even though i make time zone "GMT" after logoff it is setting as "us/central"..please suggest."

You need to go to the persons profile and change it there. Doing it from the gear icon is session based and will reset to default or what they have in their profile on logout.

Thanks for the Response .i had set in user profile as well. But still in gear icon is showing wrong.

Make sure you have a default set in the system property `glide.sys.default.tz` and then once the System Time Zone is defined, users can also select their own time zone from their user form, accessed through Self-Service > My Profile. 

And make sure its not being set from the gear as this will reset each time.

Kindly set the timezone for the user in the user profile. then it should work.
