New fields to be in global search in new UI

Hi,

I need to enable global search for new tables and include some extra fields in it. I created search sources. Now I need to add a few more fields in these searches. Can anyone please guide.

Navigate to the table "Search Result Display Configuration" using the link below:

https://instance.service-now.com/cxs_search_result_fields_list.do?sysparm_userpref_module=3af43c4753... 

Replace instance with your instance name :

Now search for your table for which you want to configure the additional fields as shown below:

Thanks for your prompt response. This is for display purpose. I need to add extra criteria in search, for example I need to search on the basis of new field like assigned to or caller or any new custom field. so lets say if my field has value 'X' and I will search X then I should get this record.

@faizu ,  No Config Is Required, Try below and check 

Add your new field to the Column (list View ) and then try on the Global Search

Hi @shyamkumar VK 

I believe we have a limitation that only certain type of fields can be included in global search. Do you have any idea on it? Is it only string fields.
