New fields to be in global search in new UI

Hi,

I need to enable global search for new tables and include some extra fields in it. I created search sources. Now I need to add a few more fields in these searches. Can anyone please guide.

thanks a lot, this sounds logical - however, I a mtesting AI Search and it does not seem to find the new field that I have added to the "text_search" view. Are there any extra steps involved for AI Search, so that it can find the contents of this new field? (to be precise, I am testing the "kb_knowledge" table with the "meta" field)

Hi All,

I have a similar question.

alm_asset in well in the search source.

I can search and find in using the tag or serial number , but not in using the CI name linked to this asset. (column is ok in my list view)

Issue for me is that some asset computer don't have a tag, i need to find them via the ci Name.

It is a reference field, is it the cause?

May be I have to configure a search also for the CI (but i would like avoid, the goal is only to find the asset.)
