New Hire onboarding in HRSD

HI,

 

I am trying to set up a new hire onboarding lifecycle event. I cannot map the new hire details to the HR profile creation. It takes the requestor details and creates using it. Any one knows how to fix this? Also, how do I edit the employee centre page showing the journey?

Hi,

I have created an HR service which uses lifecycle events for onboarding. It has a template and record producer. But when I submit the form via the employee center I want to take the details from the form and use it to create a new hr profile. I don't know how to do that

Hello, I'm not sure this was your issue, but I tried creating a new Onboarding journey/lifecycle event together with a new HR Service and found the user/profile of the new hire was not created.

Investigation led me to the hr_CaseUtils script include where the creation of the user and profile has a condition that relies on the HR Serve value being hardcoded in the _requiresUserOrProfileCreation attribute of that script.

That means that either we can only have one single Onboarding Journey (using the OotB HR Service) or we need to update that OotB script.
