No values for a select box in ATF

I have an ATF in which I am trying to set a value for a select box for a "company" field. I am using the "Set Variable Values (SP)" step. I attached the screen shot so you can see that there are no values for me to choose from in that step. On the catalog item, those values are coming from a client script when the form is loaded. They are coming from an API and have not been manually entered.
I can run the ATF and quickly select the value when the form is opened but this is not the way an ATF should really work. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi,
ATF requires static value to be set in that step
ATF is not meant to test such dynamic scenario
if you are loading choices in it based on some API call response via onChange of some variable then you can try to set variable value to that variable and wait for 5-10seconds and then set value to that checkbox
