Hello Experts
As an admin, when i login through to the service portal(ESC) I am able to view the default knowledge base, its categories and the articles within it.
But when i impersonate another user with no role i am not able to view the knowledge page at all.
However it is defined can read is Any user but its not working as expected.
You can see the attachment below, Articles are grayed out and filters are hidden.
Has anyone faced a similar problem before? I have spent a fair amount of time troubleshooting this and with no luck.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,

Hi @RavitejN ,
Check for the kb_knowledge_base table Can Read tab in related list the group should contain members whom you are testing in esc portal
AI Search is enabled and followed the procedure to ensure that the Knowledge matches the condition of the Search Sources.
Navigate to "All -> AI Search -> Search Experience -> Search Sources", then open "Service Portal Knowledge Bases" record and update the filter condition to include your knowledge base by adding another OR condition.
To config the seach in ESC portal, you need to config search source for this.
To do this you need to navigate table 'm2m_sp_portal_search_source' and create a record as below
Post this give a try in portal, you can see result like below,
Mark it as helpful and solution proposed if it serves your purpose.
Thanks,
Anand

hi @RavitejN ,
Can you confirm, there is no user criteria -> can Read on your knowledge base?
Also are you using a Global Knowledge base or Scoped Knowledge base?
Please mark this response as correct and helpful if it helps you.
Thanks,
BK
