Non-question text for survey designer

This might be a silly question, but I searched and could not find an answer anywhere.   How do you put a simple, non-question oriented text-box in a survey using survey designer.   The closest thing I can find is the string control which has a user-input field attached to it.   I just need to add text only.

Yes, that's the closest. Survey is meant to be question oriented.

I was able to accomplish this by adding a Multiple Selection or Ranking control and removing all selections/rank rows and include the message text in the 'Question' field. This allows to display message/text without requiring user input or inserting a text-box. This can also be used to display messages conditionally on previous multi choice questions using the Dependency tab.

It worked thanks.
