Not able to get email notification in activities of requested item and catalog task

Hi , 

 

I am not getting email notification details in Activities of Requested Item and Catalog task . How can i get that ? 

 

I have created a notification for Requested Item on creation and Catalog task on assigned to  . Users have valid mail id 

 

any ideas ?

is the user active, not locked out, has email field populated, has notification preference enabled

Please check the mail logs or logs available in the notification related list to see if the email was actually triggered.
If present over there kindly look in to what AG and Ankur suggested and try to take it from there.

Hello @Prashanth Ranga,

If you do not see the sent emails in the Activity log of the Requested Items then check if the "Emails - Autogenerated" checkbox is present and selected. If it's not present then you need to add it.
