Not able to open menu item in new table

In the ServiceNow portal, from menu items, I'm trying to open an item in a new tab but it's redirecting me back to the home page. Help me to resolve this.

 

The menu item type is URL and HREF has been mentioned.

Hey @Bhavya11, I have tried giving the full URL and URL target as well but still no luck! do you think the portal theme or any other application/portal property might be the reason behind it?
