I have a team that uses a shared on-call voice number. They want to not have to have a group member in the schedule, just the on-call number. I've been researching and all I can find is that you either have all the members add the on-call number to their preferences and then setup the schedule or have one sacrificial person who appears to be on-call forever. That is, having 1 or more members in the schedule are mandatory. Is this correct, or is there a way to do this? Thanks!!

As far as I am aware you need to keep at least one member in the roster.
Configure or update an On-Call schedule
