How can I make the survey inactive/expired when user has submitted it?

Once the user has submitted the survey he/she should not be able to access the form again through same URL.

Hi @Community Alums 

I am afraid OOb there is no functionality as such, we have a checkbox Allow retake which allows user to take edit the survey response until the due date has passed.

Allow retake

Check box that allows users to modify their answers to a completed survey. Users can resubmit a survey as many times as they want until the due date. After that date, the system removes the survey from the user's My Assessments & Surveys page.

OOTB is not available but if i m not wrong with some script you can do it but again not much recommend. As mention by Aman, use Retake check box.
