Only show selected variable within a variable set on the task

Hi team,

I have a variable set (Please confirm who will be responsible for the UAT testing) which contains 2 variables, a 'List Collector' and 'Multi Line Text' and depending on which option is filled in, the other option will not be visible which works correctly.

But on the task view, both options are still visible. How do I stop both variables being visible on the task when only one variable should be visible, depending on which variable has been filled out.

Please can you help solve this issue?

I think it is OOTB if you use the list collector.
