OOTB client script "Check Parent Request Closed" not letting close any open tasks.

Hello,

I came across some situation where Request is already closed and scTasks are still open and while closing those open scTasks, I get this error message 'Catalog Request is closed' and tasks always stays in open state.

That error message coming from OOTB client script 'Check Parent Request Closed' and I am not sure how safe it is to disable that script! It has an info message on it shown in below screen shot. By disabling this client script can cause any issue?

Set 'Active' to false and test.

@Dk nov  Try to close it from list view.
