Open RITM to default view automatically

Every time I open an RITM it automatically defaults to catalog view when it used to always just open in default view. How do I change it so that it goes back to how it was before, which was any time I opened an RITM it would already be in default view and I didn't have to manually change it every single time.

You can achieve this using View Rules. Take a look at this post, it should help you.

Thank you for the quick response. Could you provide me with some more information on how to access system UI. I have attached some screen shots of what my screen looks like. I am not an admin so I don't have  

much access to things so would creating a new rule be under something different?

Unfortunately if you do not have Admin, you will be unable to make changes to View Rules. If the Admins have set up view rules, then you will be unable to set a default view for yourself. If they don't the system will use the last view you were in, but if they do have rules set up, then you'll have to swap it every time. I would reach out to your admin and find out if changes were made to default you to the different view.
