Opened by is empty on sctask using worklow

I know when flow designer is used this can be checked/configured by  clicking the ellipses in the top right of the window, select properties, and look at the Run As field. 

But in this case, the problem is happening with catalog items that have not been changed to flow designer yet and continue to use workflow, Is there any way to check/fix that?

As the message says, there is no display value for that or it is deleted.

1. Click on show xml from context menu and see if opened_by field is holding a sys_id. If yes, then find if there's any user record with that sys_id.
2. If sys_id is found, then check the name of that user record
3. If sys_id is not found then the value set in the field is corrupted/incorrect.
4. If opened_by field is storing some other value then it is expected issue again.

I could see there is some value since i icon is shown

Seems that user is deleted

Check in XML there should be some sysId

any other logic is deleting the user?
