Optimize Service Portal search history report

Hello,

I have this report on sp_log table to analyze search queries which didn't return any results.

And there is a problem I have encountered. Basically whenever end user search something in SP, depending on how fast the user types it gives suggestions. And at the point when suggestion is shown, the search query is recorded.  So I am seeing entries like this:

So this way I get a lot of search queries to analyze and most of them are useless..  Any ideas how to make this report more friendly, or any other ideas how to analyze search queries to get insights for improvements?

I enitrely agree.  it seems however unless people flock to present this as an issue SN won't address it any faster.

Hi, do we know if this issue has been resolved yet? Is there a report we can use to capture trends of search queries?

Hi,

We recently upgraded to New York, but I'm still experiencing this issue; presumably that's because it still hasn't been resolved. It's really frustrating because my team have done a lot of work to optimise our knowledge search but I'm unable to track the benefit this work has had on reducing nil returns. I've started tracking a different metric: unique user searches - this allows me to track the level of end-user engagement with knowledge, but I would still like to track nil return searches.
