Order Guide not displaying Next/Submit buttons in Service Catalog

When I'm in the Service Operations Workspace and put in the name of a Catalog Item in the search bar on the upper right, the Catalog Item has no "Next" or "Submit" button.

Note that this Catalog item is an Order Guide. So far, this only appears to happen with Order Guides. I'm seeing the same behavior with other Order Guides in my Service Catalog, and only when accessing it via the search bar.

Any idea how to resolve this?

Hi ,

The OOTB catalog item widget shows the submit/order now button only to the users who do not have the snc_read_only role. Remove the snc_read_only role  and check

The buttons appear when going through the service catalog. The button doesn't render ONLY when searching for the catalog item name via the search bar AND if the catalog item selected is an Order Guide.

If it were a role issue, I'd expect the buttons not to render regardless of how the catalog item is accessed.

But I'll check.

 

Users experiencing this issue do not have the snc_read_only role assigned to them.

perhaps a silly comment, but there's a mandatory field which is empty, what happens if you populate it??
