We recently upgraded to Geneva (patch 6) and noticed that the "order now" button for our catalog items was gone. After searching the community boards I found a discussion that suggests altering the form layout and adding the "use cart layout" checkbox. After making the change, the "order now" button returned, but it does not work and an added button called "add to cart" is also displayed
So my questions are:
- Is this the correct approach to getting the "order now" button back....and if so
- How do I get the button to order and redirect to the order details page?
- How do I remove the "add a cart" button
- Is there a way to move the button to the bottom of the form?

We found and resolved the issue. For those that may be looking for an answer.....
It appears we altered the file 'com.glideapp.servicecatalog_cat_item_view' and in doing so, the upgrade did not apply the new changes to the file. This was located in the upgrade history and then reverted.
Some of the changes we made have reappeared, but can now be properly be changed by using the cart layout.
Aside from that everything is working once more.

Hi Leo:
Did you try to configure 'Cart Lay Out'. Under Service Catalog, there is 'Configure Cart Layout' module' open it and see 'Order Now' is there. Also, if you see 'add to cart' remove it.

Hi Danny,
Thank you for your suggestions, but the 'order now' is still missing.
As I mentioned earlier, the 'order now' button reappears only after I alter the form layout and add "use cart layout". When I select "use cart layout" (in form layout), the button reappears (along with others), but none of the buttons function or redirect to the 'order status' screen'.
By modifying the "Item Ordering Widget", I can remove the extra buttons, but I'm still wondering if this is the correct approach. There is also the issue with functionality and button location (see questions in my original post).

I have this same issue and it is not working. The Order now button is on my Item Order Widget but is not showing up on my maintain item form or from my catalog. Can someone post a step by step fix here because I tried Leo's and that didn't help. What do you mean by 'com.glideapp.servicecatalog_cat_item_view' was reverted, how did you revert it. What are the steps.
