Order Now button gone

We recently upgraded to Geneva (patch 6) and noticed that the "order now" button for our catalog items was gone.   After searching the community boards I found a discussion that suggests altering the form layout and adding the "use cart layout" checkbox.   After making the change, the "order now" button returned, but it does not work and an added button called "add to cart" is also displayed

So my questions are:

  1. Is this the correct approach to getting the "order now" button back....and if so
    1. How do I get the button to order and redirect to the order details page?
    2. How do I remove the "add a cart" button
  2. Is there a way to move the button to the bottom of the form?

We found and resolved the issue.   For those that may be looking for an answer.....



It appears we altered the file 'com.glideapp.servicecatalog_cat_item_view' and in doing so, the upgrade did not apply the new changes to the file.   This was located in the upgrade history and then reverted.



Some of the changes we made have reappeared, but can now be properly be changed by using the cart layout.



Aside from that everything is working once more.

Hi Donna,



The "com.glideapp.servicecatalog_cat_item_view" is a UI Page and can be located within System UI > UI Pages > Search by Name.   Once located, simply click the record to open it, click on the "Versions" tab (or scroll down depending on your layout).



Selecting a record from the version history will open that version, at which point you will see link "Revert to this version" under Related Links.     Selecting this will give you the option to revert this ("com.glideapp.servicecatalog_cat_item_view") UI Page to this specific version.
