Out of the box EC Breadcrumb not showing on portal page despite adding it in page desginer

I've added the out of the box EC Breadcrumb onto a portal page that I'm currently editing in page designer:

My settings for the EC Breadcrumb are:

However what I've noticed is that if I go onto the same page when previewing it, the wrong bread crumb appears;

I'm trying to get the EC breadcrumb to show the 'Back' option.

 

I was just wondering if somebody knew why this is occurring and what I need to do to fix it.

Hello @matthew_hughes ,

 

Are you using the out-of-box "breadcrumbs" widget? Have you modified the widget HTML or Client Script from the default?
