Hi,

Can anyone help me with this query regarding outage tab.

  • The Begin and End date is always taking future date. Can this be customized to take any date (past date / future date as well)
  • Also the duration must not be auto calculated, It should allow me to put/add manually.

Thanks in Advance.

Regards,

Shafna

You can put conditions based on Inc / prb to change.

  • Also the duration must not be auto calculated, It should allow me to put/add manually.
  • Atul: Automatic calculated.

Hi @Shafna ,

1)The Begin and End date is always taking future date. Can this be customized to take any date (past date / future date as well) :

Modify Client Script on the [cmdb_ci_outage] table which does the begin and end field values are cleared if the Duration field changes.

2) Also the duration must not be auto calculated, It should allow me to put/add manually.

There is already a Business Rule called "Outage Calculations". Deactivae business rule but please verify code in that script before taking any action.

Hi @Shafna ,

I have just verified in my PDI where cmdb_ci_outage table is standard OOTB. Here it is possible to take any dates, so from my perspective it seems like you have made some customization in your instance on this table. According to the duration, then I would recommend to leave to auto calculate. The start and end date is manual, so why do you want to do a manual calculation?
