Outbound email configuration is not working in PDI

Hi All,

 

For some requirement testing i wanted to send emails to my personal email. So, i tried to enable outbound email configuration from email properties and tried to generate the emails.

Also added my personal email in email properties page.

But i am not able to receive emails to my personal email.

Any possible reasons why i am not able to receive???

BTW pdi was a fresh new instance.

There is no official announcement or documentation by ServiceNow. They have just disabled in in the past month or so on PDI.

Inbound configuration is working fine! Able to receive emails from Personal email. So i am wondering why Outbound is disabled !

Now that is a question even I can't answer as ServiceNow has not made any official announcement however I found one thread where you can update the property using background script:-
