Parent and Child ticket relationship

Can anyone please answer , If a child ticket is closed will the parent ticket will also be closed automatically ?

Not necessarily. Some OOB tables already have those relationships and scripts in place, but custom ones do not. You may need to check Business Rules, Client Scripts, and/or Script Includes referenced in either BRs or CSs to see how things are set up on tables that DO have this already in place.
