parent-child relationship for incident

Hi All,

I need to list all the related child list under the related list "Incidents" of the parent ticket.

Please let me know if this is available OOTB or do i need to customise by writing the scripts.

Hi Sandie,

Again, it depends on your usage. When you pick a related list to display, you are asking "Show me all the records on the Incident table where the XXXX field points to this record." You can validate this from your images above in the condition filter. One says "Parent = INC0010020" and the other says "Parent Incident = INC0010020". That means one list is using the Parent incident field to point to your incident record and the other is using the Parent field (which it doesn't appear to be using based on the fact that there are no records there.)

Reference fields are automatically available as related lists to the table they reference. It's the same with TASK SLAs - show me all the records in the Task SLA table where the task field points to this incident (you currently have none.)
