Hi everyone, I'm attempting to add a banner to our Change task to alert users not to proceed with a task unless the parent has already been approved by the change team.
I've created the banner and added it, without filters the banner displays on all Change requests, both task and parent regardless of state.
I've dot walked a filter "Parent.state->is one of-> new or Assess". In hopes this would trigger the banner to only appear on task in these two stages, they are prior to the approval request step.
But the outcome I'm getting is once the filters are added the banner no longer appears on any change regardless of Child or parent status.
Looking for ideas on what to try next, the behavior I'm looking for is for the banner to only appear on a child task in a change request, IF the Approver is pending.

Hi @cmaleblanc ,
When selecting parent, can you select the parent, followed by Change request fields, followed by state shown below:
When referenced as Parent, I believe it is moving to Task table, so it should be brought back again to Change request table.
If the above information helps you, Kindly mark it as Helpful and Accept the solution.
Regards,
Najmuddin.

Thanks Najmuddin, I'm still having the issue. When I populate a filter the banner doesn't appear on anything, if I remove all filters the banner appears on both the Change Request and the Task levels.
Following your directions I can filter down from Parent => task fields, but I do not get the "Change Request Fields" options per your screen shot. I've included my screen shot below. If I go with Change Request (+), I only have "Phase state" as an option.
