PDI dev343803 Offline - resolution ETA and inactivity/reclamation concern

Hello,
My PDI dev343803, running Zurich, is showing Offline, preventing me from continuing my work. The last-used time shows 4 days 19 hours, and the Upgrade release option is also disabled.
Could you please clarify:
  • Is my instance affected by ongoing maintenance or an infrastructure issue?
  • What is the estimated resolution time (ETA)?
  • If it remains offline for the next six days, will it be automatically released or reclaimed under the inactivity policy, even though I cannot log in?
  • Is the inactivity timer paused for affected instances, or can the deadline be extended to protect my existing work?
  • Is there anything I should do now to restore access or prevent loss of my work?
Thank you.

We have some clarification from the PDI team now. New software installations across the PDI server infrastructure have temporarily caused several instances to go offline. The affected PDIs will remain unavailable until the installations are complete. Thanks for your patience in the meantime!!!

@ShobhanaS - just be aware that the message @Dr Atul - LNG's shared here is over a week old now. So we have no idea on when a resolution might happen, but don't expect a quick fix.

Hi @ShobhanaS

Q: Is my instance affected by ongoing maintenance or an infrastructure issue?

A: Yes, it appears to be a combination of both of the above that's impacting the entire PDI infrastructure.

Q: What is the estimated resolution time (ETA)?

A: No one knows and ServiceNow is offering no guidance. It appears they don't know either.

Q: If it remains offline for the next six days, will it be automatically released or reclaimed under the inactivity policy, even though I cannot log in?

A: Most likely. Sorry about that. We're all in the same boat.

Q: Is the inactivity timer paused for affected instances, or can the deadline be extended to protect my existing work?

A: No, the 'timer' is not paused, although it's not actually a timer as such.

Q: Is there anything I should do now to restore access or prevent loss of my work?

A: Nope. There's nothing you can do except wait and hope.
