PDI Issue

Hi everyone,

I’m currently experiencing an issue with my ServiceNow Personal Developer Instance (PDI). I’m unable to access it, and I’ve tried the usual steps like clearing my browser cache, trying different browsers, and checking the instance status on the developer portal. Its showing under maintenance.

If anyone has faced a similar issue or has suggestions on how to resolve this, I’d really appreciate your help.

Thank you

Hi @Vikas2R

I've been using PDI without any issues since this morning, but I've noticed several posts in the community about PDI being offline. Here are some points to consider:

  1. There is no support available for PDI.
  2. If you can wait, let's wait a bit longer.
  3. You can release this instance and start a new one, but you will lose your previous data. To avoid losing update sets in the future, make sure to take regular backups of your PDI.

There have been 3-4 posts in the community today about PDI failures or unavailability. Based on the responses, you might need to wait 1-2 days and hopefully, the PDI will be back online.

My PDI has been unavailable since Wednesday, May 14. I have two messages at the top of my screen when I log into https://developer.servicenow.com/

We're currently experiencing issues with Personal Developer Instances (PDIs). Our team is actively working on a resolution. We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience.

AND

Developer Instance is undergoing unscheduled maintenance. Get Notified when your PDI is available.

I think we just have to wait. I tried refreshing the instance with no luck. I see that I could release the instance but I don't feel like going that route yet.

Hi @Vikas2R I am seeing a PDI warning message banner on the login page for the past 3 days now. It looks like ServiceNow is experiencing a PDI outage. I hope you get your instance back soon, I know I am at a current standstill. Good luck!
