PDI reclaimed before end of inactivity period

I have been having my PDI (Washington, D.C) reclaimed a couple days before the end of the inactivity period.  Tonight (Sept. 4), I received the email saying my instance "will be reclaimed based on inactivity after the end of day Sep. 6, 2024 PST."  I immediately logged into the developer portal (within three minutes of the email being received), but the PDI was already gone.  This is the third time it has happened.  I don't understand why this is happening and if I need to do something different to fix this going forward.  Hoping someone has a tip or something to help me.  Thanks!

Hello @vhsjmail ,

Issues with PDI is a well known issue nowadays. On top of it, Instance support is no longer provided by ServiceNow and no update on this issue is being provided by ServiceNow. We no longer have feedback button also.

For any urgent work, Best you can do now is to release the instance and request for new one if you don't have important data. You can get a new instance in less than 5 minutes.

According to the business impact and if it is a customer/partner instance, you can raise HI case for this issue.

For PDI, ServiceNow no longer provides any support. You can try your luck by explaining the impact this outage has caused, drop an email to ServiceNow Developer Program "developer@servicenow.com"

If my response helps you in any way, kindly mark this as Accepted Solution/Helpful and help in closing this thread.

Hi @vhsjmail

PDI doesnt come with support, it can be lost / offline/ reclaimed at any point of time with or without prior notice. You cant get back the same PDI 😞 For future, please take regular back ups.
