Performance Analytics - Easier way to apply conditions to multiple indicators?

We have a couple dashboards that monitor tickets for all sorts of things. To group these into meaningful buckets, we use ASSIGNMENT GROUP MANAGER, MANAGER'S MANAGER and MANAGER's MANAGER's MANAGER for several different buckets. It is difficult to keep these up to date when people leave the company and new people come in... I very often do not get told this until someone notices that the boards are not adding up, and even sometimes when I AM notified, there are indicators all over the place, and I miss some.

Is there a better way? For example, the ELEMENTS FILTER you can do for some PA widgets is helpful, since those widgets I can update the filter, and it updates all of them that use the filter. Is there something like that, or some other way, to handle similar matters at the indicator level rather than the widget level, since not all widgets allow for the elements filter?

Why not create an automated breakdown based on "assugnment group manager" or one of the others. This would basically give you the same functionality, but more dynamically so you don't have to change the condition every time an assignment group manager changes.

I do do that on breakdown dashboards. The issue is that I have different tabs on the dashboard, for the different "towers". Some of the tower leads have 20+ assignment groups they manage, and instead of listing out those 20 groups, I do a AG.MANAGER = whomever in the indicator conditions. I did this originally so it would capture any new groups reporting to that manager, thinking it was a smarter way to do it. Thinking otherwise now. I think there is more turn-over even on manager level than there is new groups being created. 

I perhaps wanted to avoid doing 20+ or conditions on assignment group a little too much.
