Hi,
I am stuck with this actions after following every step still no solutions. Please help me with any idea or solutions.
In the second step of this Simulator, you activated the premium version of Performance Analytics which lets you create custom analytics content and new configurations. In this step, you are going to enable data collection for the out-of-box Incident Management indicators per the request of your company's Service Desk Manager. As a best practice, always use a dedicated system account to run collection jobs.
Create Data Collection User Account
- Navigate to System Security > Users and Groups > Users and create a new user PA Data Collector as follows:
- User ID: pa_data_collector
- First name: PA Data
- Last name: Collector
- Assign the pa_data_collector role to the PA Data Collector user.
Daily Collection Activation
- Navigate to the list of Performance Analytics data collection jobs.
- Open the [PA Incident] Daily Data Collection job.
- Make the following Job parameters changes:
- Run as: pa_data_collector / PA Data Collector
- Active: checked
- Time: 03:00:00
- Click Execute Now to save all changes and trigger the job execution immediately.
- Monitor the job execution by navigating to the Job Logs Related List.
Historic Collection Activation
- Navigate to the list of Performance Analytics data collection jobs.
- Open the [PA Incident] Historic Data Collection job.
- Make the following changes:
- Relative start: 3
- Relative start interval: months ago
- Relative end: 1 (unchanged)
- Relative end interval: days ago (unchanged)
- Run as: pa_data_collector / PA Data Collector
- Click Execute Now to save all changes and trigger the job execution immediately.
- Monitor the job execution by navigating to the Job Logs Related List.
NOTE: Allow 5-6 minutes for the job to complete.
