Platform Security hardening Use case

We have got a requirement on Platform Security hardening where customer is asking for Use Case.

Can someone help me with Use Case?

Any implementation in your project will also work, which help customer in long run.

Thanks Atul, I have read this article though I'm looking for "Write-up" use case which has implemented and that bring the "value add" to the customer.

It will be really helpful If you can help me with 2-3 Business use case.

So the customer is asking for Platform Security Hardening though the customer does not have or know a use case for this? How come, they are asking then? Can you provide a bit more background to your question.
