Populate the subcatogry based on catogory on templates

Want to populate the sub categories based on category on templates. Now those are displaying all the sub categories irrespective of category. Could you please any body suggest like is this possible.  if possible how?  Thanks in advance.

I did not find any doc, I tested in PDI and i know this, as the same concern was raised by my client as well.

on Ticket templates I want to display sub-category value depends on category selection. Please help on this . Please suggest me any feasible solutions for this.

There is no solution for this, it is OOTB and it is as per designed and I will say it is defect.
