Portal: Define available fields

I'd suppose "generic" fields, like "created" would be available to display, filter upon.

 

Yet I cannot find the created field in the filter options for external users.

 

Can I change this? can I make the created field available in the filter?

Check the ACLs. Probably your external users don't have read rights to the sys_created_on field (OOB). I just added it and was able to add it to the filter.
