Hello -
I've installed Portfolio Planning in our Sandbox. When clicking into a newly created Portfolio Plan, I click on the Capacity Planning tab. It says I need to configure the capacity attributes.
I checked ServiceNow's documentation: Enable planning attributes for capacity planning in Portfolio Planning (servicenow.com) and it would like for me to select Enable for capacity planning for the "Group" attribute. However, I need to make it active, which thus prompts this message:
"This planning attribute cannot be made active. Please provide valid column configurations using the column config related list."
Can someone help me understand what this error message is directing me to do?
Thank you!

@nebula in Application navigator, go to planning attribute. check in the related list Planning attribute column configuration. There must be some column mapping is missing. Check below screenshots.

I had the same problem in my instance and for Lookup table "sn_plng_att_core_cpaam_combination" the field name was not populated. After selecting "Group" as the field, the error message disappeared.

I had the same error message. When I selected the Enable for financials checkbox then automatically the cost_plan attribute was created in the Planning attribute column Configurations related list.
I then created a group field on the cost plan table and added this to the field name and resolved the issue
