Post button on custom comments fields

Hello!

I have a custom table with 1 custom HTML field (Comments) and an OOB field (Work Notes). The requirement is when a comment or work notes is added and the Post or Save button is clicked, the Activity Stream will be updated. This is similar to the OOB behavior in the incident form.

Currently, only Work Notes is added when the Post button is clicked. Is it possible to make this work also for a custom HTML field?

Post button is available only for Journal type field, which work notes field is.

As per my understanding whatever data you have added in html field that will visible in activity stream like this

Go to the filter activity

and make html field in available list like below
