Problem management reporting of reoccurance

Hello! hoping someone may be able to help!

The problem governance team is wondering if there is a way to track/report on problem reoccurance. Has anyone implemented a way to track this? 

 

the idea is that part of the PM mandate is to decrease problem reoccurance and we are looking for way to prove that the team is doing this.

Not sure but if a problem move from Close to In progress / RCA state, it is reoccurrence. You can create the metric for same.

Hi @SMcHenry ,

 

It depends on why the problem originates from? If it comes from alert/event, then you should have possible to identify columns utilized whit same data. If the problem comes from end users etc. then I don't think there is any straight forward way besides looking at tickets whit same CIs etc.
