Process flow formatter display based

Dear all, 

I want to create a process flow and it should displayed the step depending on value in the variable;

for example

Document type = 8D Document and state = open, the label show "New-Doc A"

Document type = Insurance and state = open, the label show "New-Doc B"

However, the steps are all displayed at same record, regardless of the document type.

Is there any way to do and meet the requirement?

@yandp  Process flow formatter must be generic one which accommodates the process. If you adding it for specific catalog item its not a best practice as its applicable only for a specific item. Does that variable going to be used in all the catalog items?

Please try the below steps for implementation : 

1. Make sure you select "Show Related Fields" drop down

2. Then select "Variables" from the drop down followed by "Select the Catalog item" or "Select the Variable"
