Hi all,
I was wondering what general opinions there are out there on the product documentation, developer docs etc?
I'm asking because I often find them hard to use, and not as user friendly or helpful as the Wiki of the olden days.
For instance,
I just searched for 'email.body_text' in the Istanbul documentation and the developer docs. I got very little back in the search results that was immediately useful.
Do any of you good people of the community have any similar frustrations, or thoughts on how best to make use of the docs?
Jamie

Thanks Darrin
I see the issue around the Google Search. Now here's a question: could the old Wiki be archived but made availabe as a PDF or series of PDFs for download? Obviously it would need to come with a health warning, as I also see the risks around the outdated content being misused.
Regards
Jamie.

Yup, that is exactly what is happening. The Wiki pages are being archived as PDFs and hosted on docs.servicenow.com. Here's a blog post with more information around that: Wiki Retirement Scheduled for December 10, 2017

Ah, I see. I thought 'archive' was being used euphemistically and that the wiki was being euphanised
Thanks Darrin.
