good question. I created a small widget in form of a button and added that to our status reports. Then the project managers can click it to get the URL and send it to stakeholders who are interested in the status report - they get this popup:
For the simple list.. have you tried just to specify the "project_status_report" page as the page for opening? - I think it must be the "Link to this page" option. I dont know if it will work just like that, but worth a shot.
