Property governing the guest user to populated in the created by field.

There's a public UI page which is exposed to ex-employees not part of our organization and now they creating some requests.

As there is no user account associated with their Id in the platform. The request is created in the environment with created by as "guest". Although there is no such user existing in the platform with this Id, I thought this is being configured OOB.

But I'm curious to know where do we have this defined?

Is there a property or something which is being governed? If I need to change this "guest" user to "external_user" as created by, what change can I do achieve this?

Thanks in advance!!

Hi @aman_sharma_07

"guest" user is a system account. If you have any inbound email actions configured which can create requests, if there is no user account that matches with the email sender then system treats it as guest account.

You can add conditions to your inbound email actions to prevent users without an account creating requests.
