query regarding paid plugin

can see many of the plugins are mentioned as "paid". 

wondering if we have to pay before/while installing in PDI or it is still free only... ? Could anyone please confirm this ?

In PDI you cannot install paid plugins.

For installing in customer instance you need to raise request from HI portal
