Query regarding the Virtual Agent

Need to clarify below 2 queries:
-I wanted to understand if Virtual agent has dependency on knowledge management
- What will be the source of data feeding in the virtual agent

In the search profile you define the search sources. You can chose not to add KB there.

Whatever you add there it will search in that source only. I did this some time back so a bit rusty but I would suggest just check the search profile , when you see what it is you'll get the clarity.
